San Diego centers SDG7 – affordable and clean energy for all – in its first VLR

Voluntary Local Reviews (VLRs) allow local and regional governments to assess their progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). ICLEI USA is working with the City of San Diego in California to review the city’s SDG progress for energy burden, renewable energy, vehicle electrification, and more.

Register for the 8th Summit for Subnational Governments

This Summit, an official parallel event to UN Biodiversity COP16, will take place on 26 October in the Blue Zone at the CBD COP in Cali. It is co-hosted by ICLEI, CBD Secretariat, City of Cali, Colombian Ministry of Environment & Sustainable Development, and Regions4. Local and subnational government leaders are invited to participate in high-level dialogues on implementing and financing biodiversity and nature at the local scale.
