POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper is seeking an Environmental Justice Grant Program Director to join their high-impact team. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing the Western New York Environmental Justice Grant Program, which is dedicated to the implementation of environmental protection and restoration projects that benefit disadvantaged communities within Western New York, to further the goals of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. This position will work closely with governmental, philanthropic and community-based coalition partners and will seek to build capacity at the community level for undertaking environmental protection and restoration projects.

Familiarity or experience with grant making and program administration, excellent problem solving, community listening, and independent decision-making skills are needed to succeed in this leadership position.
