PeaceNexus Foundation and the Ala-Too International University with the support of the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic launched the “Yntymak Academy” initiative, a new platform for an open conversation about the future of civil society in Kyrgyzstan.
The first meeting brought together representatives of the academic community, government agencies, civil society activists, experts in economics, education, artificial intelligence, media, ecology, financial analysts, civil society activists, human rights defenders, representatives of government agencies and international organizations and AIU student clubs.
A significant part of the meeting was held in the format of group discussions, during which participants analyzed the gaps between research approaches, cultural expectations and real public experience. The participants discussed the causes of such gaps and ways to overcome them through an open dialogue.
The goal of the “Yntymak Academy” is to create a space of collective reflection that unites local and global perspectives and forms new narratives of social development.
A special role in the initiative is played by involving young people in the discussion: students act not only as participants, but also as co-authors of the process, forming the voice of a new generation of conscious citizens and future leaders.
The meeting participants agreed that the search for answers to modern challenges requires not ready-made solutions, but stable spaces of dialogue where different points of view can be heard and understood. The “Yntymak Academy” is designed to become just such a platform – a place where new approaches, ideas and possible solutions for the development of civil society are formed through joint reflection.
