A team of neurodiverse individuals is launching what they’re billing as a first-of-its-kind advertising agency.

The new firm known as The Ability Machine includes creatives with and without disabilities and offers graphic design services, illustration, videography, content creation, voiceover work and more.

The agency is a spinoff of the nonprofit On the Avenue, a Nashville, Tenn. organization that teaches creative services to adults with disabilities.

The organization is run by Tom Woodard, a long-time creative producer and voiceover artist who is best known as the voice of Bud in Budweiser’s frogs campaign, which aired during the 1995 Super Bowl.

Participants at On the Avenue have done creative work for major brands including Mercedes, KIND Bar and Logan’s Roadhouse. That work laid the foundation for establishing a for-profit studio offering real employment opportunities, according to those behind The Ability Machine.

“We built The Ability Machine to do one thing: make space for neurodiverse creativity to shine,” said Woodard, who is founder of The Ability Machine. “We’re officially open for business and ready to collaborate with partners who believe, like we do, that the best ideas come from different kinds of minds.”
