How To Use the Art Portfolio Cover Pages

The templates are designed to be the covers for amazing art portfolios for students. Here are ideas for using them in the classroom:

  • Have students decorate their covers, then host an art show where students can showcase their work.
  • When students design their covers, have them draw their portrait and color in the other images in a particular art style, like impressionist or cubist.
  • Use the portfolio templates throughout the year so students have a collection of art from each quarter or unit. Students will also have a memento of how their self-portrait and coloring skills have progressed throughout the school year.
  • If you aren’t an art teacher, have students create art to show what they learn about a historical event or scientific topic. Then, use these sheets as a cover for their project.
