CENIC’s Network Operations Engineers have a long history of participation in the creation of SCinet, the global multi-terabit network built from the ground up to support the revolutionary participant demos that are the hallmark of the high-tech conference.
This year, CENIC Operations Engineer Ola Gamal will be participating as a member of the SCinet Wide Area Networking team. Gamal’s participation was funded by the Women in IT Networking at SC (WINS) program, created to fund highly qualified women, selected through a competitive application process.
Thanks to this program, Gamal will join a long and accomplished list of Network Operations Engineers from CENIC that have helped make SC the premiere showcase of ultra-high-performance networking possibilities for global research and education.
