New report highlights bold leadership by subnational governments and cities at Biodiversity COP16

Held on 26 October 2024 in Cali, Colombia, as an official parallel event to CBD COP16, the 8th Summit for Subnational Governments & Cities marked a milestone for multilevel biodiversity governance. Under the theme “Taking Action for Biodiversity,” the Summit brought together over 1,500 participants from 81 countries to highlight the vital role of cities and regions in implementing the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
 


CALL FOR PROJECTS

Easy multilingual form, no geographical limitations, projects can be in any phase of their lifecycle. Projects with strong transformative potential receive tailored feedback and may be connected to project preparation facilities and financial partners to support their journey toward implementation.
