The world we live in today seems more divided than ever before. It is impossible to control the information that your students bring with them into the classroom, but you can learn strategies for handling classroom discussions of difficult topics appropriately.

Luke Berryman of The Ninth Candle, a nonprofit organization working to end anti semitism across the United States. Luke will share proven methods for discharging tense subjects, and keep your classroom from stepping into a mousetrap.

Kristen Essex of the Organization for Autism Research, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of autistic people.  Kristen will share research and resources that support students in our classrooms.
