It Takes an Alliance to Save Coral Reefs. Ready to Meet Ours?

Date:

Coral reefs can’t be saved alone.

At CORAL, we believe that the biggest challenges require collective action. That’s why our work is grounded in our alliance of over 100 partner organizations, including 11 dedicated “core” partner organizations across the globe. Together, we’re channeling $1.4 million in funding and shared expertise to support local leaders on the frontlines of reef conservation.

For over 30 years, we’ve partnered with communities, organizations, and universities on the front lines of the coral reef crisis. We believe lasting impact happens where people live, work, and depend on these ecosystems. Our partners bring deep knowledge of their environments, cultures, and challenges, enabling us to strengthen efforts with local leadership at the core.

Over the coming weeks, we’re excited to share voices from our alliance—stories, insights, and perspectives from these inspiring organizations that make our collective mission possible. From innovative restoration projects to community-driven policy wins, you’ll hear directly from those making waves in reef conservation every day.

This is the story of collaboration, trust, and shared hope for a healthier ocean. Because when we unite, reefs thrive—and so do the communities that depend on them.

Stay tuned for the first voices from our alliance, coming soon.
