Liliana Patricia Guerrero serves as Executive Director and Waterkeeper for Bocas de Ceniza Waterkeeper. A lawyer with 21 years of experience in the professional field, she has dedicated the last ten years to the practice of environmental law.
Liliana has been a dedicated environmental activist, founder, executive director of the Fundación Guardaguas de Ecosistemas Marinos y Costeros Bocas de Ceniza, and Bocas de Ceniza Waterkeeper since 2010.
In those roles, she supports the communities in the defense of their rights to a healthy environment and clean water. In 2019, the Waterkeeper Alliance chose Liliana as one of the 20 “Waterkeeper Warriors” in celebration of our 20th anniversary, recognizing her impact and commitment to working for a change in regulations in Colombia to guarantee the right to pollution-free water sources.
