As Director of Resource Mobilization, Lowrey Redmond is responsible for securing the resources needed to achieve the mission and vision of the organization. In this role, she leads and manages business development, award management and emergency fundraising.
Lowrey is a dedicated international development professional and brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of operations and growth, which includes skills in the areas of business development, project management, program operations, and strategy. Prior to joining Action Against Hunger, Lowrey served as Chief Operating Officer for the Center for Global Health Practice and Impact at Georgetown University. Other notable past positions include Chief Growth Officer for Malaria No More, New Business Director for Abt Associates, Director of Business Development for Chemonics International, and Program Manager for Population Services International.
Lowrey is also dedicated to volunteering and helping those most in need. This passion has included serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal, youth empowerment in Zambia, and education initiatives in Honduras and Washington, D.C. Lowrey has a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Lafayette College and a master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University | SIPA.
