President & CEO Louis Fox is pleased to announce the appointment of Sherilyn Shiotsu Evans to the position of Vice President of CENIC. This expanded role nicely complements the work of CENIC’s Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Dave Reese, and CENIC’s Chief Financial Officer, Bill Paik, both of whom have proven themselves invaluable resources to CENIC and its community.
This appointment recognizes the absolutely critical role Sherilyn has played, and will continue to play, in managing CENIC’s technical operations. In addition, Sherilyn is assuming increased responsibility in representing CENIC externally to the global advanced networking community. “This is a well-deserved opportunity for Sherilyn, one that will increase CENIC’s capacity to be responsive to our diverse research and education constituents in California,” said Louis Fox.
Sherilyn joined CENIC in 2000 to provide leadership to the Digital California Project after a successful career at the University of California. She brings a wealth of experience to her new role as Vice President.
