Side event at ECOSOC 2024: The road to Zero Hunger

Date:

Amid global challenges such as climate change and pandemics, the Global Hunger Index 2023 highlights the urgent need to engage youth in shaping sustainable food systems. Based on the findings of the 2023 GHI, the event recognises the need to invest in their capacity for inclusive food systems and attractive livelihoods beyond 2030.

Welthungerhilfe (WHH), the World Food Forum, the African Climate and Environment Foundation, ProVeg International and the Major Group on Children and Youth invite you to an interactive session in the form of an intergenerational panel which aims to foster dialogue, share experiences and explore innovative solutions.

The virtual meeting will take place on January 30th from 2:15 to 3:30 PM (CET). If you would like to participate, please register using the following link.
