Getting Students Moving

Date:

In December’s EQUIP webinar, Dr. Elizabeth Contreras welcomes master teacher Myleah Ryberg, to share practical strategies for getting students moving around the classroom. Drawing from her experience as a high school teacher, Myleah highlights the importance of treating the classroom as a physical space to enhance learning. She discusses simulations such as taking a “tour” of ancient Athens, a market equilibrium game using cards for economics, and interactive learning stations. These strategies are designed to engage students physically and mentally, making learning more enjoyable and effective.
